Dispute over the sir creek

Sir Creek is a 96KM tidal estuary uninhabited marshlands of the Indus river delta on the border of India and Pakistan.

The Creek opens up in the Arabian Sea and roughly divides the Kutch region of Gujrat from the Sindh Province of Pakistan. types of poverty in Pakistan Pakistan is a Poor Nation/Country.

Sir Creek dispute between INDIA & PAKISTAN lies in the interpretation of the maritime boundary line between Kutch and Sindh.

The last meeting was held in October 2013. Five years, there was a move to revive the panel. India called Pakistan a poor nation by quoting “Poor Pakistan”.

Porbandar Navi police have opened a ‘murder case’ of 10 Pakistani Navy personnel.

A 32-year-old Thane fisherman in Maharashtra, Sridhar Ramesh Chambre, who was on a ‘Jalpari’ fishing boat, was killed after the PMSA crew opened fire on him and the other crew on the night of November 7.

The FIR was named after Dilip Natu Solanki, a fisherman who was injured in the incident.

Pakistan claimed that they(Fisherman) illegally entered their territory.

Similar Incident

Such similar incident happened in China. Chinese Fishermen entered South Korean waters then Coast Guard asked the fisherman to return but the fisherman refused then Coast Guard shot the fisherman and China was very angry and the situation was getting worse but South Korea apologized on time and this incident never gets repeated till date.

What will India do?

Like always India will negotiate with Pakistan in 2018. Under Good Gesture, India released 278 Pakistani Fishermen and expected the same from Pakistan but the result is present in front of us all.
