NASA yesterday launched James Webb Telescope from Earth. It will serve as a improved version of Hubble space telescope. James webb Telescope also known as jwst is developed by CSA, ESA and NASA together in a joint venture type event. It was developed to succeed Hubble Space telescope which was launched in 1990s and it kind of old now. It was launched from Centre Spatial Guyanais, ELA-3 on 25th December, 2021 i.e. Yesterday. It was planned in 2007 and had a budget of $500 million which is a huge budget. To retire Hubble Telescope from it service it was launched as a successor of the previous one. This Project was delayed due to Covid-19. Ariane-II Rocket carried the telescope to the space. It will be Managed by GSFC(Goddard Space Flight Center) they also managed the development of the craft and technology that to be used in Telescope.
This webb will allow scientists to determine how the first galaxies were formed and will see our own solar system in new ways and never-before-seen detail. Now let's talk about some features and components of the Space telescope.

With this much high specs and better features this Telescope will do a much better job in exploring the universe. Perhaps one more telescope will be launched next year to read and send processed data to Earth. It has a sun shield which will protect the craft from solar flares and UV rays from Sun and prevent it from melting. NASA will maintain it and we could track the location through a website. Surprisingly it will be available publicly and anyone can access it. As we know Sun is moving straight toward upward and Earth is revolving around it like this only Space craft will revolve around sun in 2.5B orbit. This telescope is a revolution in the field of Astronomy.
NASA will also do something like this with ISRO and other space agencies as well to explore the space more which will ultimately benefit the humanity.
